Eddie Miksis was signed by the Dodgers in 1944, and played regularly for them as a utility infielder, including both the 1947 and 1949 World Series against the Yankees. Miksis was traded in 1951, and played in the big leagues until 1959. This game-worn jacket has leather sleeves, and predates the much more familiar satin-style jackets. "Miksis 34" is stitched nicely inside the left pocket. Butwin and Dick Fischer tags appear in the collar. Condition is EX, with an original working zipper.
