ITEM DESCRIPTION

Yes this does exist. The finest specimen we have ever seen of this amazing publication. This is the “Edicion Hispano-Americana” of the guide and is exactly the same format (and cover) as the regular Spalding Guide’s. Only this one is a who’s who of the Latin baseball and is literally filled with photographs and statistics of the great Negro Leaguers. Includes: Cristobal Torriente, Pop Lloyd, Pete Hill, Cueto, Cueto, Cabrera, Pedroso, Luque, Mendes, Marsans, and even the John McGraw and the New York Giants’ visit to Cuba (McGraw owned a racetrack there). 6.5x4.25”, mostly in Spanish, 186 pages. Condition is Fine with minor chipping. They only provide these guides for a couple of years and only a few specimens have survived.
