Lot 1625: John Belushi’s Signed Guild Of Variety Artists Card

ITEM DESCRIPTION

“Over? Did you say over? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!” John Belushi was a giant who fell too soon. It’s amazing to think what a powerful influence he had in such a short time. This American Guild of Variety Artists card belonged to and was actually carried by John “”Bluto” Belushi during the initial SNL years. Signature on the front is in NRMT blue ink. Card itself shows good use with a few stains and rounded corners. Flip the card over and see that the honorary president of the Guild was George Burns and the honorary 1st Vice President was Mickey Rooney. A great piece for someone who loved John’s work.
