Hard to believe but at one time the Chicago Cubs were the envy of the Major Leagues when they won back to back World Series in 1907 and 08. Which happens to be the last time they were world champs. These two flags are proof. Both nylon flags are in good condition and flew above Wrigley Field in the past 20 years. The white flags has the year, 1908, stiched on both sides in blue on the field. The fly end of the 70 X 36” flag is frayed and has a slight tear on the top end. The red flag is 72 X 36” and has the year, 1907, stitched in white over a red field. The fly end is frayed with slight tearing at the top end.
