Stampede! In what could be called a team of some original “buffalo bullies,” this is the original pencil sketch drawing used to create and print card number A-15. It’s part of the remarkably successful Wild West Trading Card series . This piece of artwork is titled Winning the West, Buffalo Stampede. Under the artwork is a typewritten copy block explaining the story of how herds of buffalo tended to meet up with covered wagons heading west. Sometimes, of course, when they met, disaster! The artwork is in NRMT condition. It measures 3 x 3 1/2”. There are some adhesive smudges from the production. Take a good look at this piece of Wild West art and see one way how the west was won!
