Inside cover of a 1939 issue of Baseball Magazine has a classic follow through photo of the legendary Cy Young in his Cleveland Naps uniform. The man the award was named after scripted a bold signature in blue fountain pen near the center of the photo. Technically, the autograph grades 9/10, but some competing contrast to the latter portion of his last name would bring the overall grade down a tad. The page is about Excellent, with some minor defects in the border, such as a light stain, and a couple of old tape remnants in the upper corners.
