Better known for his control than his fastball, 4 time Cy Young Award Winner Greg Maddux’s prowess as a pitcher harkens back to the days when baseball was truly a thinking man’s game. Exhibiting the ability to paint the corners of the plate and taking the hill with complete command have been the tools in trade for Maddux. This is his Chicago Cubs batting practice jersey from the late 1980’s, which was made by Majestic, and has the future HOFer’s #31 sewn on the reverse. Shows excellent wear, with fading Cubs logo on the front from all of the daylight games at Wrigley Field. Still retains the original tag from one of the Cubs’ sales of game worn items.
