This outstanding and extremely rare 1967 Planet of the Apes Test Set includes two sets of 44 cards. One set of GAI-graded cards includes (1) GAI 2.5 - #43, (5) GAI 3’s: # 2, 15, 30, 33 and 35, (1) GAI 4 - #9, (1) GAI 4.5 - #13, (3) GAI 5’s - # 4, 20 and 25, (3) GAI 5.5’s: # 14, 34 and 40, (1) GAI 6.5 - #42, (5) GAI 7’s: #’s 3, 5, 22, 31 and 41, (1) GAI 7.5 - # 27, (5) GAI 8’s: #’s 1, 18, 23, 24 and 32, (2) GAI 8.5’s - #’s 12 and 28, (13) GAI 9’s: #’s 6, 7, 8, 10, 11,16, 17, 19, 29, 36, 37, 39 and 44, and (2) GAI 9.5’s - # 21 and 26. Also included is the finshed product of the test issue ie the set which was released in wax packs. This is a complete set of 44 cards. These are all very sharp and clean and in overall NM or better condition however about half are off center.
