Pristine autograph of The Bambino on a one cent postal card from 1941. Blue fountain pen signature is a 10/10. The Whammer was kind enough to appease a collector’s request for a sig by penning “Sincerely Babe Ruth” in the middle of the card. The original owner’s inventory notation is typed at the top of the card “Ruth, George Herman ‘Babe’ 14-185”. Card has been slightly trimmed from its original size. Addressed and postmarked May 21, 1941 on the verso, and was dropped in the mail from sunny Miami Beach. Some minor tape and tape removal marks on the postmarked side. One small, barely noticeable loss of paper on the lower left edge of the signature side. All in all, this is a killer Babe Ruth autograph.
