Seiko introduced its amazing “TV Watch” in 1983, immediately catching the attention of everyone with interest in hi-tech gadgets. The watch has since become a sought-after collectors item, on most listings of all-time great gadgets. The “TV Watch” consists of the wrist watch itself, featuring a 1.1” blue-scale liquid crystal video display, a walkman-style TV/FMV receiver, and headphones. The receiver, with both UHF and VHF TV channels and FM radio, was intended for a jacket pocket, connected inside a sleeve to the watch display. The “TV Watch” is complete in its original brown and black box, with all connectors, headphones, instruction booklet and warrantee. Condition is NRMT, marred only by some expected foam loss on the earphones, and the device is fully operational.
