1960’s psychedelic Concert Poster, featuring blues greats Big Mama Thornton and Willie Mae Thornton. Designed by celebrated poster artist Bob Shaw, whose name appears at lower right. Blue ink on heavy white card stock, H - 23 1/2” x W - 15”. Condition VG-EX, ink is bold and unfaded, and design is well-centered. A fairly large number of tack holes in the corners, a couple of light spots and streaks, and some scuffing and surface abrasion, largely confined to the lower third. This poster is quite eye-catching and has spent its life being seen and appreciated.
