1897 New York Giants Programs, a pair of identical programs. Their covers feature a very striking multicolor image of Miss Liberty. A scorecard with player’s names spans the centerfold, and the program also contains home and away schedules for the season as well as an interesting variety of period advertising. The 1897 Giants went 83-48 during their 131-game season, yet only managed third place. Better days were coming soon! 16 pp, 7” x 9 1/2”. Condition VG, with binding staples missing. One of the copies is missing an interior sheet, thus is only 12 pp. Both copies have been trimmed at the bottom edge, missing about 1/3”.
