Definitely from the Red Sox era (circa 1919) when he really started to hit homers. It is red (for Red Sox) and both known specimens were discovered in the New England area. One of the ways the fans got involved, besides just exhorting the Babe to send it over the moon, was to wear their straw hats with a head band bearing this message “Swing it Babe’.” Band is 10 x 1-5/8” and VG-EX.
