Rare miniature panorama of the newly constructed (2nd year) Shibe Park, Philadelphia home of the Athletics until they headed for Kansas City in 1955. The ballpark located then on the outskirts of the city at 21st and Lehigh was state of the art in it’s heyday, being the first ballpark built of concrete and steel.
