Lot of two baseballs autographed by both 1936 All-Star teams here. This tilt was held at Braves Field in Boston, where the National League picked up its first victory over the Junior League with a 4-3 decision. Both teams have signed an official William Harridge American League ball in black fountain pen. NL ball was autographed by 15, including Mel Ott (7), Dizzy Dean (6), Carl Hubbell (6), Gabby Hartnett (6) and Joe Medwick (6). The Arky Vaughan, Leo Durocher and Bill McKechnie signatures are lighter, but readible. Bold stampings on this VG team ball. 19 have signed the AL baseball, with a strong Lou Gehrig (7), Bill Dickey (7), Lefty Gomez (7), Rick Ferrell (5), Goose Goslin (5), Charlie Gehringer (5), Lefty Grove (2-3) and a rookie Joe DiMaggio (4-5). A couple of “clubhouse” signatures on this one, most notably Jimmie Foxx. Overall condition of the AL ball is VG+.
