Lot 633: Early 1920’s Baseball Uniform With “Cub” Patch

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Reserve: $300.00
Winning Bid: $392.62

Very interesting uniform, not thought to be major league. Probably from a semi pro or minor league team nicknamed the Cubs or Bears. On the left breast is a felt patch of a bear cub holding a bat. Manufacturer’s tag in collar is faded out. “Featherson” (name of player who wore this) is printed in the collar of the shirt and waist band of pants. Nice condition with all original buttons and black piping. Great display item for a Cubs collector.
