Lot 808: Nolan Ryan’s Last Game Baseball
ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
The greatest fireballer to ever take the mound walked away from the game he loved on September 22, 1993 after 27 magical years. You can almost feel the heat from the seams of this game-used Official AL Ball from the era of President Bobby Brown. Ryan’s signature, a 9, and the date, 9-22-93, appear on the dirt-rubbed ball in bright blue felt-tip pen. The wily Texas anger was defeated by the Seattle Mariners that night, ending his career with 5,714 strikeouts and an unparalleled 7 no-hitters.
