Before Tiger, Jack, Arnie, Ben and Sam there was Bobby, as in Robert Tyre “Bobby “ Jones, possessor of perhaps the purest golf swing of all. This First Edition autographed book, published in 1960 by Doubleday, still has the dust jacket. The dedication page to his father is stamped “Property of Alfred B. Maclay, Jr. Day School.” Other writing on that page is “#2720” in blue ink, “796.352” in pencil, and along the inside margin, “Nov. 2, 1970,” along with a previous owner’s name in pencil. The binding is in EX condition.
