“Three blind mice, Three blind mice, See how they run, See how they run”. Shorty Laurice’s Brooklyn Dodgers Sym-Phony Band was known for serenading baseball umpires with its rendition of “Three Blind Mice” in Ebbets Field from 1936 until the Dodgers departed Brooklyn in 1957. His Sym-Phony Band is prominently featured at Baseball’s Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. but they didn’t get the peice they wanted, this Mega-Phone!!! All original the Megaphone is institutional green with “Dodgers” hand painted in white on the side. Drawing of two marching band members with a large drum with “Dodgers Sym-phony” on it and between them. Signed by Duke Snider, Pee Wee Reese, Ralph Branca, Carl Erskine, Mickey Owen, Clem Labine, Al Gionfriddo, Johnny Podres and Tommy Holmes. Also Dodgers player’s names are written all over the megaphone. 32-1/2” long and 43” around at its base. No greater item of Brooklyn Dodgers folklore exists!!!
