Quintet of hardcover books are all boldly signed by The Mick in various inks. (1) 1953 - “The Mickey Mantle Story” autographed in blue Sharpie. (2) 1985 - “The Mick” special leather edition #172/536 is signed in black pen. (3) 1987 - “Explosion!” has huge ball-point signed, “Thanks, Mickey Mantle”. (4) 1991 - “My Favorite Summer 1956 - signed “Thanks, Mickey Mantle No. 7” in blue ball-point. (5) 1994 - “All My Octobers” is neatly penned in black. All five signatures are flawless 10 of 10 examples. The books are all very nice, with the minor exception of “The Explosion!,” which has some water damage to the back cover and final twenty or so pages.
