Lot 792: Unique Collection of Signed Baseballs With Vintage Signed Hank Aaron Single

Collection has 11 signed official major league baseballs including one game used example of Hank Aaron’s, personalized “To Murray” with date of 9/30/73 added. Brooks Robinson also signed one for Murray. One other single scripted by the infamous Del Unser. Eight others are team signed spheres, with a 1973 Reds team ball (Ex-Mt) with 27 sigs: Sparky, Rose, Bench, Morgan, Perez, Klu, etc.; 1972 Mets team ball (EX); 1973 Mets team ball (VGEX); 1974 Mets team ball (EX), two 1975 Mets team balls (one Ex-Mt, the other is EX), two 1973 Dodgers team balls (one GD, the other a little better, but has several “clubhouse” sigs) There are also 3 bats: Oakland Athletics World Champions 1972 (34-3/4”) with Reggie Jackson, Charles O. Finley, Dick Williams, Campaneris, Fingers, Bando, Jim “Catfish” Hunter, Blue, Tenace and the rest of team inscribed on the barrel. A bat (34-3/4”) with a brass plaque reading “To Commemorate the 1970 All Star Game Riverfront Stadium July 14th Cincinnati, Ohio.” And a 3rd bat (34-3/4”) in honor of the Cincinnati Reds, NL champs in 1972. Inscriptions of the entire team on the barrel including Rose, Bench, Foster and Perez. And finally a tie with drawings of Hank Aaron. Label is marked “395 of 715”. All of these items were originally obtained from a former Sports Illustrated photographer.
