Lot 673: 2002 Tom Glavine Game Worn Jersey
ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
The HOF-bound southpaw may be rather misty about this jersey himself, since it was one the 2-time Cy Young winner wore during his last season with the Braves, before moving into a distinctly less satisfying situation with the Mets (where he’s lost more games in 3 seasons than he did in his last 5 in Hot-lanta). The ‘02 campaign was a typical one for Glavine (then), who went 18-11 with a 2.96 ERA. Road gray jersey has “Atlanta” across the front above the team’s tomahawk logo, “18” on verso in red on black tackle twill, and “Glavine” on back in black. MLB logo on back collar. “Russell/Authentic” tag on front left tail with “1-02” label indicating it’s a Set 1 jersey, and “1” Extra Body Length” and “+1” Sleeve Length” flag tags. Moderate use. Originally obtained from the Braves.
