Government postcard signed by Campy just prior to the 2nd of his 3 MVP seasons. Card is postmarked March 4, 1953 from Vero Beach, Fl, the Dodgers’ spring training base. Signature is in eye-catching green ink and reads “Best wishes, Roy Campanella,” grading a letter-perfect 10/10 to the right of a newspaper head shot of Campy. Card itself is EX with some border/corner damage mainly on the mailing side. Campy had his best power year in ‘53, with 41 homers (a record for catchers until broken by Javy Lopez in 2003) and 142 RBIs.
