UPDATE: The condition breakdown of the set is as follows: SGC 80 EX/MT 6 #'s 11, 53, 54, 55. SGC 70 EX+ 5.5 #'s 22, 25, 28, 29, 34, 35, 39, 40, 50, 51, 56, 57. SGC 60 EX 5 #'s 21, 23, 24, 26, 31, 32, 33, 42, 43, 41, 45, 47,48, 49, 58, 59. SGC 50 VG-EX 4 #'s 15, 30 ,32, 52. SGC 40 VG 3 #'s 360 and 60. Card # 27 did not meet the minimum size requirements and card # 44 was miscut.
Naccionales Cigarros baseball cards from Cuba, a country that loves baseball like America, Japan and many of the countries throughout the Western Hemisphere. This is a complete set of graded cards in great condition. Some Cuban Hall of Famers featured here: Manuel Cueto - spent 3 seasons with Cincinnati Reds, as did Rafael Almeida, Jose Maria Fernandez - spent 35 years in the Negro Leagues and Ramon Herrera - 2 years with the Boston Red Sox, Cristobal Torriente of the Cuban Stars - led the Negro Leagues one season with a .383 average and 3 HRs, All Star outfielder Valentin Dreke, Jose Mendez - won all 4 games taken by Cuba against an American team that featured him defeating Christy Mathewson in an epic pitching duel, Alejandro Oms - 1928-29 Alejandro Oms - led the league in batting two years in a row, once with a .432 average, Adolfo Luque - pitched for 22 seasons in the NL, Rogelio Crespo - batting leader and Armando Marsans - 8 year major leaguer. Some cards come SGC graded as follows: SGC EX/MT 6 (4), SGC EX+ 5.5 (12), SGC EX 5 (10), SGC VG-EX 4 (6), SGC VG 3 (1). A truly outstanding collection for the serious collector of baseball and Cuban memorabilia.
