Howard Cosell bought 100 shares of “Broadway Joe’s Inc.” stock in 1969 and this certificate proves it! Signed by an authorized officer of the Commerical Trust Company of New Jersey, this green and off-white 8” x 12” certificate is in good condition and partly reads, “This is to certify that Howard W Cosell (typed) is the owner of one hundred full paid and non-assessable shares of common stock of the par value of ten cents ($.10) per share each, of Broadway Joe’s, Inc.” Broadway Joe’s red logo with B&W football player atop is in the center of the certificate, and it is stamped with their corporate seal in the lower left corner. Included with the certificate is a separate receipt signed and dated by Howard W. Cosell on 4/24/69. It is also signed by officials from Chemical Bank and Amos Treat Associates. This separate document is stamped May 6, 1969.
