Lot 158: Section of Visitors Dugout Bench
ITEM DESCRIPTION
The visitors dugout bench was often a place of great duress and pain. Imagine sitting there and pondering the fact that soon you’d be standing in the batters box looking out at the mound, and not knowing if the ball was going to hit the black of the plate or shave some of the whiskers off your goatee. Riding the pine wasn’t necessarily a bad thing when Gibson was pitching. Some other great views have been had from there too including gasping at McGwire’s moon shots. Section of the wooden bench is approximately 48” long, 36” in depth, and 36” high.
