The countdown towards the end of Busch Stadium was marked in a classy and fun way, befitting the team and its fans. When each game became official a brief ceremony was held as a person of significance to St. Louis was brought in on a car that circled the warning track before ending up in the right field corner, where they changed a sign commemorating the number of regular season games left to be played in Busch Stadium. Each and every one of this select bunch signed the final sign, now at zero. Piece is 30 X 30” with a rendering of home plate in the center. Lower right corner below the plate is the logo for the final season at Busch.
