The last of the vintage Cardinals steamer trunk collection has slight variations such as “St. Louis National League” being stenciled on top of the red and black metal frame. “20” is stenciled on all sides in gray. This is the largest of the trunks, measuring 45” wide, 32” high and 24” deep. Interior of the trunk contains three dividers separating the space into sectors. As with the other trunks, very well used, inevitably leading to thoughts about whether duds off the back of Pepper, Diz, The Man, The Big Cat, Gibby and Big Mac were ever stored inside these sturdy echoes of Cardinals past and present.
