Wonderful photograph focuses not on any Cardinal player but rather a mass of Cardinals fans in the stands doing just what fans at Busch Stadium did – gab, eat, wear red clothing, wave signs (one saying “Way to Go Red Birds”), and gaze at their heroes out on the field. The 65 x 101.5” photograph hung in the left field Hot Corner Food Court, drawing the attention of thousands of fans, some of whom recognized themselves and contacted the Cardinals’ front office requesting copies. Photo has a laminated surface surrounded by a gray border and exterior wood frame, with the fans’ faces astoundingly clear and sharp. NRMT with a few scattered nicks all but invisible at a distance .
