One of the prime attractions of Busch Stadium’s final season was this “Countdown” sign on the right field wall, on which the remaining games were charted by a Cardinals or visiting player or manager or other celebrity tearing off each ensuing descending game number -- from “81” to “0” -- before each game. Sign takes up two green vinyl panels on the wall, each 48” wide and 86” tall. “Busch” breezes across the top of the sign, above “Countdown” in yellow and the 27.5 x 33” white card with the game number in red. Sign will be delivered with the precious “0” card showing. Perhaps the ultimate Busch swan song memorabilia, in EX condition with adhesive marks around the game-number area.
