Here on this marvelous wood veneer wall hanging in the 300 Lobby, the Redbird assumes his familiar position atop a yellow bat with “Cardinals” in the also-familiar script-style lettering beneath. The kicker here is that the bird and the lettering are carved to leap off the back surface, lending a dramatic, nearly 3D look. You half-expect the feathered creature to spread his wings and soar into the blue yonder – or at least the upper deck. Piece has wooden frame and measures “27.75 x 27.75”. EX-MT condition.
