Beautifully preserved saddle leather wallet belonged to famed NY cartoonist Williard Mullin. Wallet is from 1940 and has "Detroit Tigers 1940 World Series" stamped in gold on right inner half of wallet. Wallet includes "2.5" x 2" plastic folders (green & orange) with white cards marked "stamps" and "tickets". Stored in wallet is 4" x 2.25" membership card for Retired NY Police & Fire Dept. with "Willard Mullin" stamped in black, police shield in gold with "1947" in the center and gold firman's shield with "1948" in center.Wallet also contains a 3.25 x 1.5" white card with "Mr. Walter O. Briggs" printed across card.
