The Dutch Master himself kept this May 7, 1943 game used ball, recording the stats and battery mates in clear, black ballpoint pen for both the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds. Straight from his personal collection, V.D.MEER as the offical NL ball from the Ford Frick era proclaims, prevailed 5-4.
