The Duke, the very name of which evokes images of Crazy Legs Hirsch, Hugh "The King" McElheny, Night Train Lane and Tank Younger, was the official NFL ball from 1941-70 and was so strongly identifiable that some still believe it's being used! This vintage Official National Football League ball with "The Duke" proudly emblazoned on its hide probably was used by the Eagles and obtained in the Philly area. The Duke was darker than the current ball, making it perfect for autographs. EX condition, partially deflated. Long live the Duke!
