Great vintage, framed broadside for the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra at the Policemen's 17th Annual Ball at Floral Hall at the County Fair Grounds in Dunkirk, NY. Circa mid-'30s after Jimmy split from the Dorsey Brothers Orchestra he led with his brother Tommy. The popular horn man's face appears at the bottom over a stick figure carrying a banner reading "World's Greatest Saxophonist." 14 x 22" cardboard piece with blue and red lettering is technically G-VG w/foxing and some paper loss on the upper right corner but the imperfections pale mounted under glass against an unmatted background in an 18 x 24" black frame.
