Cache of 18 vintage "actress series" tobacco cards from the late 1800s includes 11 Honest Long Cut N95 series (blank verso), 1 G&A Navy Long Cut card (back ad w/"Smoke and Chew Navy Tobacco; Beware of Counterfeits"), and 5 prototype cards with no brand name but some w/the exact images on the Honest Long Cuts (blank verso). These may have been prototypes or issued as a variation. Cards generally 2 x 3.75" and G-VG, some quite good, some suffering paper loss including 1 with a corner area missing. Good, crisp sepia toned images.
