In 1959 amid a battle of licensing right between card giants Fleer and Topps, Fleer scored a knockout by signing Ted Williams away from Topps, and made this great eighty (80) card set featuring The Splendid Splinter's life from boyhood through greatness. This near complete set is missing card #68. The set averages VG-EX to EX with about 15% lesser.
