This 8" x 10" black and white 1976 UPI wire photo shows the great Thurman Munson with legendary Yankees manager Billy Martin. Also includes the text of the UPI release, dated September 16, 1976, in which Munson was asked about the prospect of his winning the prestigious MVP award. Munson very succinctly stated, "I want to win it." Some slight discoloration on the back of the photo which is not noticeable on the photo itself.
