Eric Dickerson provided Indianapolis with a much-needed rushing attack; his 1311 yards ranked third in the NFL that season. Dickerson, a superb runner who could also catch passes out of the backfield, has spent most of his career with first the Rams and then the Colts, is sixth on the all-time career NFL rushing yards list. The Champion manufacturer's tag with washing instructions and size "XL" is on the outside left tail. On the front, back and on each sleeve of the white mesh jersey is the player number "29" screen printed in blue. Across the back is "DICKERSON" screen printed in blue on a white name plate. Below the number on the left sleeve is the embroidered Champion logo. Below the numbers on the front is Dickerson's autograph along with "29" and "1311 YDS" in blue marker grading a 7-8 of 10. The bottom front of the collar has been cut (by Dickerson or the team) to form a "vee" opening. The jersey shows excellent game use with many sweat stains, especially around the collar. There is tape residue from a previous framed display.
