Some terrific stuff here. 1) Corbett-Starkey stub from the Lenox Athletic Club dated November 22, 1898. Tiny corner stain o/w EX+. 2) 1880's Professor Johnny Murphy "Good for One Boxing Lesson" burlesque or sideshow ticket. Very early piece from a good early pugilist. VG+. 3) 19884 Johnny Murphy (of Boston) versus Frank White (of New York) at the Palace Rink on Charlotte Street (how cozy). This "Grand Wind-Up" (love-it!) is "Four Rounds" and with the "Marquis of Queensbury Rules". Unused and half browned o/w NRMT. Two well known fighters of the day appeared on cigarette and cabinet cards. 4) Marvelous "Old Tim Collins the Well Known Light Weight Champion of the World Admission 25 Cents". Unused and EX-MT. Very early piece, it appears to date from the 1870's or 1880's.
