Boston Braves 1925 season pass bears the facsimile signature of team president Christy Mathewson. Matty had turned to front office matters after his HOF pitching career with the Giants was over and bought the Braves in 1923 for $300,000 with New York attorney Judge Emil Fuchs. This was part of Matty's valiant effort to go on with his life while battling tuberculosis, which eventually took his life on October 7, 1925, at the age of 45. 2 1/4 x 3 3/4" pass is white with blue and white border stripes and the Braves' logo top left and top right.
