Lot 2031: Philadelphia Flyers Stick Collection with Sittler, Clarke and Barber
ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
Bobby Clarke was known for having the NHL's sharpest stick, but Bill Barber and Daryl Sittler could perform non-elective surgery in the corners, too. These 3 nasty-looking rods used during the early '80s with the Flyers were all signed to Rick the Stick in black marker. Sticks are respectively stamped on the shaft, "Clarke B. 16," "D. Sittler 27" and "Barber 7." Clarke's also stamped "18 Nov. 1982" and Sittler's "17 Nov. 1982." Clarke and Sittler sticks are Sher-Wood, Barber's is a Koho. Scary markings on each with the center segment of Clarke's slathered black. Tape wrapped around the blade of the Sittler and Barber sticks, while Clarke's has just a small bit of tape wrapped around the blade.
