The 1955 Bowman football cards looked like movie posters and made the players look like matinee idols. Lions quarterback Bobby Layne gets the star treatment in this MINT PSA-graded 9. Note the white vapor silhouette background against pink. Words on the front and back remind us that Layne played for the NFL, not MGM.
