The Bambino's esteemed signature is at the bottom of this 4 1/4 x 6" single sheet from an old autograph album, carefully cut from a separate piece of paper and glued onto the page to join that of his Yankee teammate and fellow HOFer, pitcher Herb Pennock. Ruth signature in black ink is a NRMT beauty with perhaps a microscopic part of the "R" cropped at the bottom. Pennock signed near the top in black marker, NRMT as well. Also glued on is a cut-sheet, pencil autograph (VG) of Paul Gallico, the famed New York sportswriter of the '30s and later author of "The Poseidon Adventure." Sheet is pale green and G-VG with a surfeit of adhesive around the Ruth and Gallico signatures, and 3 small binder holes across the top.
