Swung this as a 21-year-old playing for Single A Prince William in 1985. Prodigies come along once in a blue moon, and this one came with a caramel-colored Louisville Slugger "M253" with "Bonds" branded into it. Bonds' number, 24, is handwritten twice under the knob with blacked out number as it was possibly also used by a teammate. This bat is more streamlined than later Bonds models. Shows extensive use, including ball-seam marks and dark smudges.
