The seams have strained and popped on Adam Graves' game-used New York Rangers jersey from the 1992-93 season. They are subtle reminders of Graves' drive to push the Rangers into position for their smashing Stanley Cup championship in '94. But we get ahead of ourselves. Graves, a classy left wing, notched a then career high of 36 goals to go with 29 assists in '92-93 and part of his production came in this Madison Square Garden blue shirt with the tumbling R-A-N-G-E-R-S down the front. Gerry Cosby/CCM tagging on the collar along with CCM and black and orange NHL logo on the shirt tail. One of the NHL's best patches ever -- the "Stanley Cup 1893-1993" with the man hoisting the famous trophy -- graces the right shoulder. Graves' individually stitched letters across the back, above his ol' No. 9, brings tears to the eyes. Remembering what happened the next season Graves put on a Rangers sweater can make a Blueshirts' fan bawl at the sweet memory of it.
