Lot 960: 1971 OPC #180 Al Kaline GAI 9.5 Gem Mint
ITEM DESCRIPTION
Kaline earned the name Mr. Tiger, and his place in the HOF, not only because he played more games in a Tiger uniform or hit the most home runs in franchise history but also because he treated fans and teammates alike to class, leadership, and determination rarely seen before or since. Offered is his 1971 O-Pee-Chee card, more difficult to find than its American counterpart and scarcely seen in such stellar condition. Free of scratches and damages often found on cards of the same year, this extraoridinary specimen has earned the grade of Gem Mint (9.5) by GAI.
