ITEM DESCRIPTION

Grab this wonderful WHA artifact by the horns. The Toronto Toros' game-worn jersey belonging to No. 11 Gavin Kirk in 1973-74 is a winner. And that's no bull. Let's start with the team's primary patch, a big ol' blue bull snorting red. Add in the battle-frayed captain's A on this red, white and blue Maska-tagged relic, the "Toros" script patch on both arms and a blood stain on the right sleeve, and you have a must-have. There's a repaired slash and holes, too. Nobody said competing for attention against the NHL institution Maple Leafs was going to be easy. Kirk, a center who logged 20 goals and 48 assists that season, was one of professional hockey's rare Brits. The Toros had a jolly good time in their maiden season, going 41-33-4 and reaching the Eastern Conference semifinals.
