1) Roger Maris signature provides the sizzle for this Armour bacon advertising card. Maris, never comfortable in front of the camera, strikes one of his more relaxed poses in promoting Armour on the postcard-size pitch. Card has two pinholes and a bit of staining but vintage signature is NRMT. 2) Pair of 5" bat pens (NRMT condition) also promotes Armour and he is joined by his 1959 Kansas City Athletics teammate Harry Chiti, one of which has been capped. "Always Insist on Armour's" says the red imprint. Maris would bring home the bacon when he got to the Bronx.
