Lot 1176: 1994 Michael Jordan Gray White Sox Pants
ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
The pants have stirrups at the end to keep them covering the entire sock. Even if his performance was less than Hall of Fame-like, basketball god Michael Jordan still had his own style playing baseball for the White Sox organization in 1994. These game-worn Russell polyesters are long, and fit a very famous person, says the label with Jordan's name, number (45), waist and inseam on the waistband label, next to the Russell Athletic Diamond Authentic label. Double snap front road grays with white and black piping and the Russell "R" above the left back pocket show light game use. Jordan played in an exhibition game between the White Sox and Chicago Cubs on April 8, 1994, and had two hits in five at-bats before being assigned to the AA Birmingham Barons, which used similar uniforms. He batted .202 before mercifully returning to basketball.
